My Writing Projects

I write women who love women. I write literary fiction, weaving in elements of the spiritual and the supernatural. I am not defined by a single genre. Read on to discover more about my work.

Near Completion: The Endless Sea

Dark sky over a body of water with lightning illuminating clouds and a small island with trees in the foreground.

The Endless Sea: A Trilogy

Lady Corinne Gilbert is horrifically injured in a car accident that takes the life of her husband. Paralysed and despairing, she does not make her new nurse welcome; it would be far easier to die. She is 57 years old, a mother and grandmother, all her life’s work is behind her. Yet Adeline Wolff is as tenacious as her namesake, and her uncanny techniques soon bring Corinne out of her sea of pain. Can she learn to walk again? Everyone around her says no, only Adeline says yes, but how she heals Corinne is something no one has ever seen before.

Near Completion: Revenant

A landscape view of a desert with mountains under a sky with green and purple hues, and a large tornado or dust devil visible in the distance.

Revenant

A standalone novel set in the early 2000s in Maine.

After being robbed at gunpoint, Rachel leaves her loveless marriage and her husband and tries to find herself in a new small town. After being hired by the local library, she meets a woman who comes in the same two days a week, works in the same carrel each time, and leaves without interacting with anyone. Spying the pitiful lunches the woman eats, Rachel starts bringing lunch for her. As their friendship grows, so do feelings that Rachel has never had before, but Julia keeps her distance. Just when they realise what they mean to each other, Fate intervenes, sending them on a journey neither of them could have foreseen nor imagined.

Work in Progress: Conjuring Dawn

An old illustrated map titled 'A New Map of the World by Rob: Morden,' depicting continents, regions, and ocean areas with decorative elements including cherubs and mythological figures.

Conjuring Dawn: A Trilogy

A cataclysm millennia ago changed the world forever, unleashing physical nightmares and stealing the ability to dream at night. The only dreams available at night are those for purchase at the grocery store; generic, pale, and not enough for Ember. After the devastating loss of her best friend and commander, Ember comes to the Apothecary, a woman who can craft the dream she most desires, a dream wherein she could apologise to Bree and attain forgiveness. Whether Tara’s mistake was intentional or not, from the ruination of the dream she purchased, Ember is led deep into the magical world of the Apothecary, discovering the origins of her own military unit, the Drakensdvaerder, and the threat that her entire world faces. How far will Ember go to protect those she loves, while falling deeper in love with Tara?
